About MHCC: Our Asheville Event Venue
The Tony & Helen Morris Hellenic Cultural Center (The MHCC) is a beautifully appointed Asheville Event Venue located within 5 minutes of downtown in the historic Montford District. We host private parties, wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners, as well as private parties for families, high school reunions and corporate functions. We are also perfect for fundraisers and school functions.

Historic & Convenient: We are conveniently located in the beautiful Historic Montford District of downtown Asheville, just off I-240. We are the alternative to a downtown Asheville event venue with the convenience of being minutes from all the downtown action.

Banquet Hall: Our event center is a 5000 sq ft open floor plan banquet room, capable of accommodating up to 300 people with hardwood dancefloor, performance stage and two raised side platforms that perfectly set off buffet stations, exhibit tables or provide additional seating.
Meeting Room/Bridal Room: We also offer a 735 sq ft room that can be configured in boardroom style for corporate meetings, training and presentations. It can also be configured as a Bridal room for preparing the bride and her bridesmaids.
We are handicap accessible throughout with easy unloading for caterers, entertainment and other vendors.
We offer a private bar room, caterer’s kitchen, beautifully renovated restrooms and lobby.
We also have convenient on-site, gated parking with overflow street parking available. We can accommodate bus entry.
